I am a Psychotherapist, counseling psychologist and a mental health coach registered with the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP), Counsellors Council of India (CCI), CRN7529150. Masters in the subject of psychology and holding a merit rank in the Maharashtra Board, I have extensively practiced the science of human behavior in the capacity of a human resource professional, and ideator of a mental health well-being venture for over 21 years and still being a student learning from life's evolving experiences. I believe in integrative counseling.
My approach in counseling is on a very basic and solid foundation that each individual is unique and so is his or her concern. I devise and execute each solution based focused therapy intervention accordingly. I am a certified practitioner in Mindfulness based cognitive therapy, Child & Adolescence counseling, Gestalt therapy, Couple Therapy, Life Coaching and more. I believe in an eclectic balance. Moreover, “not all classrooms have four walls”. Life happens everyday to all of us, these observations, reflections, and enriching experiences are the wisdom pillars of counseling. Genuine empathy towards pain leads to effective healing.
I specialize in mindfulness based cognitive therapy. I believe in tapping the human potential with Mindfulness exercises, cognitive behavior therapies and Motivational Psychology. Each day is a work in progress; my goal is to assist in achieving and more importantly maintaining a better mental health space.
